Clacton Coastal mental Wellbeing was set up by  a local professional integrative psychotherapist , to provide immediate FREE Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and  third wave c.b.t such as ACT and D.B.T Therapy classes to the wider community of Jaywick, Clacton  and anyone living in Tendring  . Unfortunately, if you suffer from depression, anxiety ,anger issues ,eating disorders or a wide range of cognitive problems you are likely to experience a long wait period before being seen by an NHS mental health professional. A  high proportion of these will be for C.B.T. we can provide immediate help .

we will also be running a new course specifically for people suffering anxiety issues in 2025

We feel as we think but thoughts are not facts . If we examine our thoughts we can change how we feel .

Our mental health support group was created as a community initiative to teach cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression , anger, obsessive thoughts , addiction among other cognitive problems . It is open to anyone in the Tendring area and is and shall remain free  to all users .All course materials and Refreshments provided free .Our classes currently operate  in the Jaywick Sands and Clacton on Sea areas. please contact for location 

 PLEASE.... BE ADVISED REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASSES IS NEEDED IN ADVANCE .... Parking on site  available. 

Due to our safeguarding policy . ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR OR BULLYING OF OTHER ATTENDEES OR ANYONE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRINK AND OR DRUGS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED .

C.B.T or cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a solution-focused therapy that looks at our thinking styles and whether they are helpful or not  . We look for evidence based thinking rather than just reactions . After all, we all  feel as we think . The basic premise is nothing or no one has the power to disturb you , it is  what you are telling yourself about the situation that disturbs you leading to disproportionate anger  ,depression, anxiety ,obsessional thinking and a whole host of cognitive ( mental ) disturbances .However, we do not have to live this way .C.B.T  helps you regain control over your emotional reactions by challenging your thinking styles , If you, or someone you care about is struggling to cope with a mental health issue Clacton Coastal Mental Wellbeing  are ready to help. Run by and delivered by a fully qualified ,experienced, registered, and Accredited psychotherapist ,we are here to help .  Please contact us via this website the linked  facebook page or Email.
